Fuel Injection Diagram

By replacing the carburetor, there are total 6 main types of fuel injection parts in the fuel injection diagram.
1.High pressure Fuel pump, located in the fuel tank
2.Fuel injectors
3.Fuel Pressure Regulator
4.Engine Control Module/Unit – ECM or ECU
6.Engine Sensors

These parts helps a lot in meeting the emission requirement with playing different roles.
There is a supply line which connect the fuel pump (mechanical part of the EFI diagram) and injector.Through this line, the fuel is delivered to the injectors. When the fuel leaves the injectors, the excess is returned to the tank by way of the return line. This closed loop fuel supply guarantees a consistent spray and amount of fuel from each of the injectors. The injector(s) either sprays the fuel directly into an engine cylinder for burning or into a manifold where it is mixed with air, and drawn into the engine cylinders for burning.

The ECU, wiring and sensors make up electrical section of the EFI diagram.
The injectors are connected by the wiring harness to the ECU in order to a power source (the battery).
The ECU is also connected to various sensors located within the engine compartment. The ECU monitors engine conditions and the position of the gas pedal in order to determine the correct amount of fuel that needs to be sprayed from each injector.

Quite a few specialized sensors are involved in the operation of a fuel injection system. For more complete view of the fuel injection diagram, you could contact professional manufacturers like China Balin Parts Plant for the manual of fuel injection.
